Wanted: Cycling Consultant
Hello Vélo is looking for a Cycling Consultant who is highly engaged in cycling through their own participation and is interested in an opportunity to develop their skills and knowledge in a unique performance studio setting. The ideal candidate is able to engage people in their interest in cycling, can diagnose and repair mechanical issues with bikes, is able to size riders for a bicycle, can diagnose bike fit issues for riders and has an aptitude for learning. Candidates with experience in women’s cycling will be given additional consideration. Sales, payment processing, ordering, receiving, blogging and maintaining a clean shop are all responsibilities.
Requirements
- Over the age of 18
- Must love to ride mountain, cross, road, or du/triathlon
- Demonstrated mechanical aptitude
- Demonstrated interest in the finer points of cycling – equipment/gear, mechanical, fitting and performance

- On the job mechanic training and professional sizing and fitting techniques (Slowtwitch, Juteau-Cantin, Cobb, BikeFit, Hello Vélo Protocol, Retul 3D Motion Capture)
Compensation and Work Hours
- Fair market rate commensurate with experience; as negotiated.
- Part-time leading to full-time
